These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Volt & Velvet Affiliate Program. Please read them carefully before applying. By submitting an affiliate application or using your referral code, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Volt & Velvet Affiliate Program ("Program") allows approved individuals and businesses ("Affiliates") to earn commissions by referring customers to voltandvelvet.co.za. By joining the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
To participate in the Program you must: • Be 18 years of age or older • Have a valid South African bank account • Provide accurate personal and banking information during registration • Not be an employee, director or immediate family member of Volt & Velvet • Not operate websites or social profiles that contain illegal, offensive, or misleading content
Commissions are calculated on the net order value (excluding shipping) of qualifying purchases made by referred customers using your unique referral code. Tier Structure: • Starter — 10% commission per sale • Silver — 12% commission (upon reaching R5,000 in referred revenue) • Gold — 15% commission (upon reaching R20,000 in referred revenue) • Platinum — 18% commission + custom terms (upon reaching R50,000 in referred revenue) Commissions are only payable on completed, non-refunded orders. If an order is partially or fully refunded, the commission will be adjusted or reversed accordingly.
• Commissions are calculated on the 1st of each month for the previous calendar month. • Minimum payout threshold: R200. • Payments are made via EFT to the South African bank account on record within 7 business days of calculation. • Volt & Velvet reserves the right to withhold payment pending fraud investigation or dispute resolution. • Affiliates are responsible for declaring commission income to SARS in accordance with applicable tax laws.
Each Affiliate is assigned a unique referral code. Referrals are tracked via this code at checkout. Volt & Velvet cannot be held responsible for commissions lost due to: • Customers not entering the referral code at checkout • Ad-blockers or browser settings that prevent tracking • Orders placed by phone or WhatsApp without reference to your code A referred customer must complete a qualifying purchase within 30 days of first clicking your referral link for the commission to be attributed.
Affiliates may NOT: • Bid on Volt & Velvet brand keywords in paid search advertising (e.g. Google Ads) • Use spam, unsolicited emails or misleading content to promote the Program • Self-refer — placing orders using your own referral code is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination • Misrepresent Volt & Velvet products, pricing or policies • Use fake or bot-generated traffic to inflate commission earnings • Offer unauthorised discounts or promotions on behalf of Volt & Velvet
Affiliates are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use approved Volt & Velvet logos, images and brand assets solely for the purpose of promoting the Program. You may not alter, distort or misuse brand assets. All intellectual property remains the exclusive property of Volt & Velvet.
Volt & Velvet reserves the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to: • Violation of these Terms • Fraudulent or suspicious activity • Inactivity for more than 12 consecutive months • Business closure or restructuring Upon termination, any outstanding commissions for validated orders will be paid within 30 days. Commissions on disputed or pending orders will be forfeited.
Volt & Velvet makes no warranties regarding the amount of commissions an Affiliate may earn. The Program may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time with reasonable notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volt & Velvet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Program.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng, South Africa.
Volt & Velvet reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified of material changes via email. Continued participation in the Program after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
